- Identification of suitable habitats for aedine mosquitoes by correlating species occurrences and environmental parameters - Application of regional climate models to project future conditions
- Identification of areas where pathogen amplification is possible by mapping the temperature dependent extrinsic incubation period of the pathogen (the time that is needed after a contaminated bloodmeal to render a vector infective)
- Combination of vector and pathogens climatic suitable areas to identify areas at risk for vector-borne diseases
